6. Csodák – Miracles

Jézus csodáiban az istenségére utaló jelek mutatkoztak meg. A földi nyomorúságot legyőzi Isten ereje. A sötétséget elűzi a fény. Mint ahogy az ikonokon átsüt a végtelen Isten dicsősége.

A jézusi csodák a transzcendens érintései. Közeledések az emberhez, és mindig az ő érdekében történtek. Amikor tanítványai hajója hánykolódni kezdett a habzó tengeren, lecsendesítette a vihart, hogy megmentse őket. Ura volt a természeti törvényeknek. „Ki ez, hogy a vihar és a szelek is engedelmeskednek neki?”, kérdezték álmélkodva

The miracles of Jesus showed signs of his divinity. Earthly misery is overcome by the power of God. Darkness is driven away by light. Just as the icons show the glory of the infinite God.

The miracles of Jesus are touches of the transcendent. Approaches to man, and always for his sake. When the boat of his disciples began to capsize on the foaming sea, he calmed the storm to save them. He was a master of the laws of nature. „Who is this that the storm and the winds obey him?” they asked dreamily
