11. Sírba tétel – Burial

Krisztusban az Élet jelent meg, a Teremtő elpusztíthatatlan, örök élete. Az ikonosztáz titokzatos kapu, mennyekre kinyíló ablak, amelyen át beláthatunk, beléphetünk a szentélybe, a mennyei világba, a feltámadás fényébe.

A képek, az angyali üdvözlet, a keresztségkor leszálló Lélek, a három isteni vendég, az utolsó vacsora asztala, a töviskoszorús Krisztus, a napba öltözött asszony mind egy-egy mennyre kinyíló ablak, egy-egy része az örök titoknak. A középpontban a pünkösdi lélek látható. Általa a történet ma is folytatódik. Krisztus mondta: „Azért jöttem, hogy tüzet gyújtsak a földön. Mi mást akarnék, mint hogy égjen!”

In Christ appeared Life, the indestructible, eternal life of the Creator. The Iconostasis is a mysterious gate, a window opening to heaven, through which we can see and enter the sanctuary, the heavenly world, the light of the resurrection.

The images, the angelic greeting, the Spirit descending at baptism, the three divine guests, the table of the Last Supper, the Christ with the crown of thorns, the woman clothed in the sun, are all windows opening into heaven, each a part of the eternal mystery. At the centre is the Pentecostal soul. Through it, the story continues today. Christ said, „I came to kindle a fire on earth. What would I want but that it should burn!”
