12. A feltámadás fénye – The light of the resurrection

A világunk szeretetből lett: a Teremtő végtelen, áradó jóságából. Ebből születtünk, ebből sarjadt ki az emberi élet is. Az idők teljességében ez az isteni élet és fény, a szeretet gyönyörű dallama megjelent, testet öltött. A sötétség összefogott ellene, hogy kioltsa a fényét. Ám a benne rejlő, elpusztíthatatlan élettel szemben tehetetlen volt.

Krisztus fénye ma is ragyog. Akik hallgatnak a szívükre, akik hallgatnak őrá és a benne ragyogó fényre, azoknak ragyogó lesz a tekintetük.

A monstrancia (szentségmutató) az eucharisztia ünnepélyes kitételekor, körmeneteken használatos liturgikus eszköz, amelybe az eucharisztikus kenyeret, Krisztus testét helyezzük. A monstrancia díszes sugarai jelzik az élő Krisztusból sugárzó erőt, kegyelmet, békességet.

Our world is made out of love: the infinite, overflowing goodness of the Creator. From it we were born, from it human life sprang. In the fullness of time, this divine life and light, this beautiful melody of love, appeared, became flesh. Darkness united against it to extinguish its light. But it was powerless against the indestructible life within.

The light of Christ still shines today. Those who listen to their hearts, who listen to him and to the light that shines in him, will have a radiant gaze.

The monstrance is the liturgical instrument used in the solemn celebration of the Eucharist, at processions, in which the Eucharistic bread, the Body of Christ, is placed. The ornate rays of the monstrance signify the power, grace and peace radiating from the living Christ.
