5. A gyógyítások – The cures

Test és lélek elválaszthatatlanok. Hány testi betegségnek van lelki oka, és hány gyógyulásnak is! Az egészség nemcsak orvosi kérdés, nemcsak gyógyszerekről és diagnózisokról szól, hanem az egész emberről. Az embert csak a teljesség tudja igazán meggyógyítani, betölteni.

Jézus körül sok csoda történt. Ezt halálos ellenségei sem tagadták soha. Meg se próbálták elhallgatni, hiszen ők maguk is látták, hallották, hogy sok ember nyerte vissza őkörülötte az egészségét. Josephus Flavius zsidó történetíró, aki néhány évtizeddel az események után ír Jézusról, így fogalmaz: „Megdöbbentő, megmagyarázhatatlan tetteket hajtott végre.”

Beteg a világ, mert elvágja magát az élet forrásától, a Teremtőtől. Meggyógyul, ha újra kapcsolatba lép vele.

Body and soul are inseparable. How many physical illnesses have spiritual causes, and how many cures! Health is not just a medical issue, it is not just about drugs and diagnoses, it is about the whole person. Only wholeness can truly heal and fulfil a person.

Many miracles happened around Jesus. Even his mortal enemies never denied it. They did not even try to hide it, because they themselves saw and heard that many people had regained their health because of him. The Jewish historian Josephus Flavius, writing about Jesus a few decades after the events, says: „He performed astonishing, inexplicable deeds.”

The world is sick because it cuts itself off from the source of life, the Creator. It will be healed if it reconnects with him.
